The Gainesville, FL Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center & the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida are seeking a BE/BC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGIST. This faculty position is a full-time dual appointment, primarily based at the VA. The VA has three cardiac cath labs and access to a hybrid OR. The full spectrum of CT surgery is available on site. Duties at the VA will be shared equally between three electrophysiology faculty and include the entire spectrum of EP procedures (all devices and the entire spectrum of ablation procedures using state of the art mapping system), education of fellows in-and-outside the lab and staffing the EP consult service. VA CCU and general consult services are shared equally between ten VA cardiology faculty. Outpatient clinic responsibility is as needed, and ongoing scholarly activity is expected.
