RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION INCENTIVE MAY BE AUTHORIZED Education Debt Reduction Program: This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program within VHA. If selected, please contact the facility EDRP Coordinator. Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) is currently recruiting for a full-time Board certified / eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist. Duties include specialty cardiology clinic and inpatient rotation. Participation may include all ECHO modalities including performance and interpretation of TEE. The incumbent may also be involved in EKG and Event monitor interpretation as well as all types of Stress testing. This position is located primarily in Temple, Texas and involves interacting with residents and cardiology fellows. The incumbent maybe assigned to other CTVHCS locations if considered necessary. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or as agreed upon with the possibility of extended hours and weekends. NOTE: Candidates must be willing to work weekends, irregular work hours and extended hours. The candidate must be willing to be assigned to other related services and/or locations, if necessary.
