The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College is seeking an academic non-invasive cardiologist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to practice the full scope of non-invasive cardiology in a collaborative, academic environment. Albany Medical College, founded in 1839, is one of the oldest private medical schools in the country and the only academic tertiary care hospital in the Capital Region of Upstate New York.

 

• Inpatient consultative and critical cardiac care duties plus non-invasive cardiology in an office-based practice
• Work alongside a team of 17 academic cardiologists at the main teaching campus with 7 additional cardiologists at community-based sites
• Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians
• Opportunities to work alongside experts in a wide range of cardiology specialties including:
  • Imaging
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Electrophysiology
  • Structural heart diseases
  • Advanced heart failure

We are looking for successful candidates with the following:

• Board certification or board eligibility in cardiovascular diseases
• Training and/or experience in echocardiography strongly desired
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations

 

• Competitive base salary range $300,000-$340,000 with additional incentive bonus opportunity
