Elkhart General Hospital, a 254-staffed bed Level III Trauma Center in Elkhart, Indiana, is seeking BC/BE Palliative Care Physicians to join our premier practice. We anticipate crossover with Memorial Hospital of South Bend, a 434-bed Level II Trauma Center in South Bend, Indiana.
Position Highlights
Established, Growing Palliative Care Program: Join a dedicated, interdisciplinary Palliative Care team integrated across inpatient services, committed to delivering high?quality, patient?centered supportive care.
Interdisciplinary, Team?Based Practice: Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, chaplains, therapists, and care managers to address complex medical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Meaningful, Relationship?Centered Work: Focus on symptom management, goals?of?care conversations, complex decision?making, and family support—allowing time for thoughtful, compassionate care aligned with patients’ values.
Integrated Hospital Support: Work with strong collaboration across ICU, oncology, cardiology, hospital medicine, and subspecialty teams.
Career Development & Leadership Growth: Opportunities to help shape program growth, quality initiatives, and service line development within a supportive, physician?led medical group.
Balanced Schedule & Sustainable Practice: Employed position with a predictable weekday schedule with no call. Additional opportunities for outpatient practice could be considered with ongoing growth.
